The Base was designed to fit not only with a GoPro adapter, but designed to work with a variety of other GoPole products, providing you the flexibility and adaptability to get the right shot.
Developing a concept
In 2012, the GoPro camera sales really took off, and our client thrived on creating products that enhanced the experience. While many of the product attached to the body, I was tasked to design a product that replaced a cameraman.
It was pretty obvious it had to be some kind of tripod. But doing some research we realized that a whole lot of awesome happened in environments where traditional tripods couldn’t go. So we designed a mini tripod (a rarity then).
